CARE AT THIS HOME

The care Bridge House provides

Bridge House is a residential home, for people who need support with daily living rather than ongoing nursing care.

Residential

Everyday support

Care that supports wellbeing and daily life, while looking after the bond you share as a family.

Dementia

Understanding care

A trained team who understand the challenges dementia brings, helping residents lead a full and enriched life.

Respite & day care

Needs changed to nursing care? If a resident comes to need nursing care, our sister home Albert House provides it, and we will help make any move as smooth as possible.

Gardens and railway

Mature gardens with the much-loved miniature railway, and space for garden parties.

Homely communal spaces

FEES & FUNDING

A clear starting point on cost

Fees are agreed individually before anyone moves in, and depend on the room and level of support needed. We do not publish a fixed price list because every situation is different.

Self-funding

Many residents fund their care privately. We will talk you through what is included and answer any questions.

Local authority funding

If your local authority contributes towards the cost, we can support you through that process, including any top-up arrangement.

NHS funding (Continuing Healthcare) applies to nursing care and does not cover residential care such as Bridge House provides. Fees may vary following a pre-admission assessment, and do not include extras such as hairdressing, chiropody or outings.
